Every session gives young scientists the opportunity to mix, build, test, investigate and discover for themselves. Children of all abilities are welcomed and supported to participate at their own pace and in their own way.

Children learn by doing
Our workshops are built around active participation. Children don’t simply watch an experiment—they become part of it.
From the moment a workshop begins, children are encouraged to pour, mix, construct, make predictions, test their ideas and observe what happens next.
Every session includes four practical experiments, carefully chosen to introduce scientific ideas through colour, movement, reactions, creativity and plenty of memorable moments.
The science is explained in an accessible, age-appropriate way, while children are also introduced to real scientific language and encouraged to ask questions. They are learning throughout the session—often without even realising how much they are taking in.

There is no single right way to take part in our workshops. Some children confidently share every prediction, while others prefer to watch first, explore quietly or take a little more time.

Our aim is for each child to leave feeling proud of what they achieved, more confident in their own ideas and excited to continue discovering.
