How to book your science party
We’ll guide you through each stage so everything is agreed and prepared before the celebration.
Check availability
Tell us your preferred date, venue, the birthday child’s age and approximately how many children will attend.
Secure your date
A £50 non-refundable deposit confirms the booking and is deducted from the final balance.
Create your party
Choose your package, show-stopper and optional extras, then complete the party information sheet.
Get ready for fun
Pay the remaining balance 72 hours before the party. We’ll arrive with the science equipment and take it from there.

Every guest becomes a scientist
This is not a sit-and-watch science show. Children carry out the experiments themselves as they pour, mix, construct, predict and investigate alongside their friends.
We explain the science in an engaging and age-appropriate way, while encouraging children to use real scientific thinking and vocabulary.
Parents and carers must remain throughout the party. Children aged six and under will need an adult available to support them with the practical steps.

A show-stopping finale
Every party includes one larger finale experiment. With our guidance, the birthday child carries it out as the Star Scientist while their friends enjoy the big science moment.

We’ll discuss the practical details with you so the experience works safely and comfortably in your chosen space.
Children attending
Up to 15 children are included. Additional children can join for £10 each.
There is no fixed maximum, provided the venue can safely accommodate the group.
Venue options
Host at home, hire a suitable venue or ask us about our regular venue at Baffins Community Centre, subject to availability.
Deposits and payments
A £50 non-refundable deposit secures the date. The remaining balance is due 72 hours before the party.
Payment plans may be available on request.
Time and preparation
Most parties last one hour. Some extras or additional show-stoppers may extend the experience slightly.

What ages are the parties suitable for? +
Our science parties are designed for children aged 4–12. We consider the age and interests of the birthday child and their guests when recommending activities.
Can we choose the experiments? +
Yes. Choose our Create Your Own Science Party to select any four experiments from the full experiment menu in the brochure. We can help you choose an enjoyable and age-appropriate mix.
Do parents need to stay and help? +
Yes. Parents and carers must remain throughout the party. Children aged six and under will need an adult available to support them during the practical activities.
Can you provide a venue? +
Baffins Community Centre may be available, subject to room availability and applicable venue fees. You can also host at home or arrange another suitable venue.
Can we add more than 15 children? +
Yes. Additional children can join for £10 each. There is no fixed maximum, provided your chosen venue can safely hold the full group.
